Today I’m a Roadie for Jake’s band – The Flying Dinosaurs. They have a gig at the boardwalk in Sheffield this afternoon! It’s kinda cool as technically they aren’t old enough to get in to their own gig. http://www.myspace.com/theflyingdinosaurs1

RIP Ali Bongo

Sad news today of the death of Ali Bongo – a kind, great and influential man who I met and worked with a few times, recently during the Siegfried and Roy dinner last year. Blackpool Convention Filming

I’m filming lectures at this years Blackpool convention. It’s as busy as normal with people such as James Randi, David Blaine, loads of others. We are currently on a dangerous balcony in the pavillion theatre filming a show with top mentalists… I love typing that.

Here’s a couple of tunes recorded via the iPhone at the pub tonight. We were messing about and trying the recording app (Griffin iTalk – Mucho impressed). The tunes are Soldiers Joy then the Trumpet Hornpipe (or Captain Pugwash!). It’s a little rough as it was getting late!
